Your Itinerary
Day 01 Houeixay – Pakbeng (L/D) : Monday/Friday
a.m./p.m. Pak Ou boat leaves Houeixay pier at 09:00 and cruise down the Mekong river to Pakbeng. En route two stopovers are made. One for picnic lunch on the river bank and the second to discover a village of minorities (Yao or Lu). Observe rural life along the Mekong river.
Arrive Pakbeng before sunset and check-in at the Pakbang Lodge or Luangsay Lodge.
Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong river.

Day 02 Luangsat Lodge or Pakbang Lodge – Pakbeng – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang (B/L/D) : Tuesday/Saturday
a.m./p.m. Breakfast at the lodge, (optional to walk to see local market, where people from the surrounding villages of minorities exchange goods.)
At 08:00, board Pak Ou boat for the second leg of cruise. Picnic lunch on river sand beach and short stop to discover a Hmong village. Continue to Pak Ou village at the mouth of Nam Ou river, visit Pak-ou caves of a thousand Buddha images. Then toward Luang Prabang, short stop to observe the traditional process to obtain local rice alcohol. Arrive Luang Prabang before sunset.
Transfer to the Villa Santi Hotel or similar.
Dinner and accommodation at the Villa Santi Hotel or similar
Day 03 Luang Prabang (B/L/D) : Wednesday/Sunday
Breakfast, visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple, then excursion by car to visit the famous waterfall of Kuangsi. On the way, stopover to visit Ban Xom (traditional Lao Loum village).
After picnic lunch, visit Vat May, Vat Vixoun and watch sunset at Nam Khan restaurant.

Day 04 Luang Prabang – Vientiane (B/L/D) : Thursday/Monday
a.m. Breakfast, visit the national museum (the former King’s palace) and transfer to the airport
Depart by Lao Aviation flight for Vientiane
Arrive Wattay Airport in Vientiane & transfer to the Lao Plaza Hotel or similar
Lunch in Luang Prabang or in Vientiane (depends on timings of the flight)
p.m. Visit Vat Sisaket, That Luang Stupa, Vat Hoprakeo and Patousay
Dinner and accommodation at the Laos Plaza Hotel or similar
Day 05 Vientiane – Departure (B) : Friday/Tuesday
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Wattay International Airport
a.m./p.m. Depart Vientiane by flight for next destination.
